A sweet little surprise....

Can you tell what this is?? It's one of our fern baskets we had hanging on the front porch. Kevin was outside doing yardwork yesterday and decided to take them down because they were all dying. Little did we know there was a tiny surprise inside this one....

Look closer....here's the nest there had to have been 4 or 5 of these cute little birds in the nest,
two of them flew off while we were hovering over the top looking in (yes, I jumped about 10 feet) look....how sweet is this?

they didn't know what to think.....pretty cool

Bluebonnets and Sad news

Yesterday we took the kids to Montgomery to take pictures in the bluebonnet fields. I got a little picture crazy, as you can tell, but we had fun doing it. I hate that these beautiful flowers will be gone before you know it! Most of the time Hannah kept blowing kisses to the camera, and Hunter kept chasing an elusive yellow butterfly....poor thing he was so determined to catch it but wasn't fast enough....poor butterfly too, having to be chased around by a three year old!

On a sad note, we found out this weekend that Kevin's Grandpa Leveritt has an aggressive form of cancer throughout his body. He went in for a gallbladder surgery, but the doctors unexpectedly discovered the cancer. I feel fortunate that we just got to see them a few weeks ago and were able to have a good visit with them. His Grandpa is one of the sweetest men I have ever met, and I always enjoy listening to his stories and experiences. I pray that God will heal him and keep him free from pain and suffering. I know in this sad time that the Lord will be the rock for his family, and above all I pray for God's Will to be done.
