One More...

Here's one more of our funny little man. Notice how he pauses after he smacks his lips to make sure everybody in the room was watching him, what a little ham!

Our Funny Man

This is a video that was taken on Easter day at Kevin's parents house. I kept forgetting to post it, but watched it again today and decided I had to. Hunter is taking sips of Pam's iced tea, and he is putting on quite a show for everyone as you will see..........forgive the poor quality, I took it w/ my camera. Enjoy!

Showers and Showers

If I haven't mentioned it before, our good friends Jaime and Larissa our about to have a little baby girl named "Maya Grace". We are so excited to have more friends with kiddos, and can't wait for her arrival. I can already imagine having playdates with Maya, Adalee, Kaitlyn, Hannah and Hunter....I'm sure Hunter will be leading the pack, being the only boy (or he will be simply taken over by the girls)!
Friday night our good friends Monica and Doug came to stay with us. I was roomates in hygiene school with Monica, and I guess we didn't drive each other crazy enough-because we are still good friends! After school they lived in Willis for a few years while she finished her degree, then moved back home to Georgetown. We had fun catching up and whined about how we miss each other-she was one of my best shopping companions! Hopefully we will be able to visit them in Georgetown soon. Saturday was Jaime and Larissa's baby shower/crawfish boil at their house. This was the 3rd annual crawfish boil, and somehow there is always a baby shower involved! Ours was first, then his brother and sister in law, and now theirs-I guess crawfish and baby stuff do go pretty good together! We took the kids for a bit, then Kevin brought them back home so Pam could watch them and we could relax on our own for a while--thanks a bunch Pam!

Sunday afternoon I went to a bridal shower for my friend Ashley, one of my good friends from high school. She and Clenn have been dating for as long as I can remember, and I am so happy for her and can't wait for the big day. Ashley is one of the few people in life that can make you laugh, even if you've had a really bad day. I guess that's what I love about her so much! Easter Weekend

So...I decided to try to re-enact Hannah and Hunter's bunny ear pictures from last year. The Friday night before Easter, I put them in their jammies and even got the old boppy pillows out. Unfortunately, I am unable to post last years picture as I had hoped to because we lost some of our material when our computer crashed, but I'm pretty sure you can tell from the picture above that it didn't go as planned. I lost Hunter's white bunny ears, so I had to opt for little lamb ears instead (I'm sure he will really appreciate me for this when he gets older). Hannah had the same old ears, but NOT the same enthusiasm.

Easter weekend turned out to be really great. We went to church on Saturday night for a change and really enjoyed it-the message was great, and afterwards we went to eat at Texas Roadhouse where the kids enjoyed adding to the peanut mess by chucking their goldfish on the floor (its the only place where that is even remotely acceptable). Sunday morning we slept in and then headed over to Kevin's parents for lunch. We had a great time seeing family, and after lunch we let Hannah and Hunter hunt for eggs. I have to admit, I thought they may be still too young to understand, but they really "got it" after a little demonstrating for them. Hannah had her bucket fill up w/ eggs in no time at all-once she figured it out, she was on a roll. Hunter was fascinated by the "confetti-filled" eggs from Grandma Leveritt. After they loaded up on lots of sugar and toys, and were exhausted from the hunt we headed home and put them to bed early.

The next morning, they were still interested in sorting out the eggs, so while they did that I tried to organize ALL of the Easter treats they received, and tried to gather up all the stray Easter grass that was floating around the house....did I mention I really don't like "Easter grass"! Here are some of the pics from Easter weekend-there are more on the shutterfly site for those that are interested...Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

It's been a while

I keep meaning to do short blogs more frequently, but can't seem to find the time....so, I procrastinate and they end of being huge-sorry:)

I will try to give a quick re-cap of some of the highlights of the last few weeks. A few weeks ago Pam and I woke up at 5:30 to hit the annual Woodlands garage sale. I managed to find a few steals, and came home with some pretty cool stuff--all for under 30 bucks. Their favorite item by far was the $2 shopping cart, Hannah kept trying to climb into it like she does at the grocery store. Here are some pics of the new toys:

Last week Hannah and Hunter finally got their 18 month shots. It was our 3rd attempt-Hannah had a ear infection, then Hunter was sick......so they were well enough to be rewarded with 3 shots in the legs. They do pretty well in general with their shots, but I can tell it is definitely getting harder as they get older. Hannah is becoming quite the chatter box now, her new favorite words are "up" and "baby". Hunter used to be the more vocal one, so it's funny to see how they change back and forth. I still don't feel like they are talking enough, but their pediatrician doesn't seem concerned. They told us that twins have their own way of communicating and that they usually take a bit longer, so that makes sense to me. They have become huge fans of Sesame Street (I think it even trumps Baby Einsteins). Hannah pointed at the tv and said "emoo, emoo, emoo" before I figured out she wanted her elmo dvd. I must say that Sesame Street has not changed too much from when I was little, I swear they still have some of the same videos from my childhood!! It is still pretty old school, which I guess is why we all like it so much.

This past Sunday we took pictures in the bluebonnetts near our house. Katy, Jason, and Adalee joined us and we came back to the house for dinner afterwards. Hannah and Hunter had a great time tromping through all the flowers, and I'm pretty sure they ate a few too. Overall, we got some really cute pics--it's just so hard to get a picture with both of them looking at the same time!! Here are a couple bluebonett pics..I have posted them all on our shutterfly site if you would like to see more: http://www.kevinandmanyplus2.shutterfly.com/
